MS. KEarly Childhood EducatorHello, I’m Kuntal aka Ms. K. I’m the youngest of four daughters in my family and my parents’ favorite child contrary to what my sisters might tell you. I was born in New Delhi, India. I studied, resided and traveled throughout India until graduating from high school in 1994. Post graduating high school I moved to Berkeley, CA where I attended UC Berkeley with a double major in Psychology and Economics. MS. ELIZABETH
Lead Preschool Teacher
Hi, I’m Ms. Elizabeth! I’m a kindhearted person who absolutely loves working with children. I’ve officially started working in childcare about 5 years ago and it has always been a wonderful experience. Children bring such light and positivity into my world, which is why I have decided to pursue a teaching career. I’m 19 and I just finished my second year of college as a Liberal Studies major. I am super artsy and love to incorporate crafts and hands-on experiments into everyday learning, so much so that I need my colleagues to keep me in check so I don’t overdo it! I love coffee, spending time outdoors, and swimming. I am so thrilled to have been given the opportunity to share these important years of development with the children at Little Explorers Academy. I hope that with being their teacher, they don’t just learn curriculum, but also understand and incorporate the values that I hold to such importance, such as patience, inclusivity, kindness, and respect. To be a part of the LEA family is such a joy and an honor, and I am so excited to see what the future holds!
Lead Infant Teacher
Hello, I’m Ms.Taylor, I am currently enrolled at Grand Canyon University to receive a degree in Early Childhood Education. I have always had a passion for working with children and consider it a privilege to be a part of their significant former years. I started working professionally with children at the age of fifteen and it has only heightened my love for children as I watch them grow and accomplish milestones. I am extremely grateful to have been given this opportunity to be a part of Little Explorers Academy. I hope that with the help of a very tight-knit family of educators and caretakers we can make it a nurturing, fun, one-of-a-kind learning environment for...
MS. LINDSEY
Language Art and Music
Hello, I'm Ms. Bitson. I never could have anticipated the kind of present-awareness, loving- kindness, and compassion that has arisen as a result of my experience in the care-taking field.
When I made the decision to live my life with intention, one of the ways in which I would do so was a career change. I have worked in restaurants, on sales teams, in cubicles, from home on my computer, and nothing has brought more joy and meaning to my life than working with children.
I grew up with my nose in books. Because of this I always had my mind set on having grand adventures. By 16, I had been to several countries, including a 2...
